I've done video editing long terms for more than half of my life, doesn't mean I'm very good at it. So here's a small sample of works.
The Preservation Project - Competition Trailer
I was challenged by the creator of a fan-project to a lil' competition where we'd both make trailers for the same project only using stock assets (visuals, music, etc.) This is what
I came up with on my end.
Zelda - SpaceWorld '97 Restoration Trailer
This was a fun trailer that I put together in order to get some minor work for another fan-project (spoiler: it failed), but has remained a favorite amongst people
in my circle. I captured all gameplay footage and edited everything. I also made the custom mix of "2Bad" by Michael Jackson for this.
cake's "Exploring a 20 year old Japanese Animal Crossing save file"
One of the earliest paid video editing projects I took on back in 2020, when I used to do highlights for Twitch streamers. After this, I was offered a position as his full-time
editor, which I passed on at the time due to... I don't remember. I also designed the thumbnail.
DaEgg123's "Puyo Puyo SUN’s Official Localization - A Brief Look"
A good friend of mine was looking for someone to edit a quick video and I needed some cash, so I took up his offer. I've ended up becoming his long-term video editor and
he's been basically my consistent source of income for the last 3 years.
DaEgg123's "The Most Misjudged Characters of MOTHER 3"
My friend wanted to make a video looking into a controversial part of one of favorite game. Not only was I involved with editing, but I was also involved with the initial creative process. I
did research and helped reach out to some queer voices in our community to gather their perspective.
DaEgg123's "Cut Content in Puyo Puyo Games 3"
This guy won't stop telling me to make videos of his lame puzzle games. Anyways, I was involved with video editing and also in research/preservation with some of the content found
in the video.
"The Jukebox's True Origins - MOTHER 3 GBA"
I made this video because I found a number of people asking the same question about one specific part of this game, so I decided to do some research to make a simple and clean video
in relation to it. I did the editing, writing, and research for this video.
"Expansion Kits: The untapped market of the N64DD - Nintendo 64 Disk Drive"
A video I'm very proud of over a topic I have dedicated a lot of time to, and arguably one of the biggest scale projects I've worked on. I organized the project, alongside writing and editing
the whole thing, and also did a number of graphics alongside many of my friends who helped with voice over.
Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) VHS Trailer
A fake trailer I made to be put at the start of one of my VHS tapes, based off old trailers found on VHS tapes and DVD from the 2000s.
